Once Upon A Dream

Thursday, June 19, 2014
Watched Maleficient this afternoon. Oh my god, one of the greatest Disney movies in its history! This movie is really the hype right now after Frozen. It makes me love Angelina Jolie and adore Elle Fanning even more. Angelina was so amazing in the movie, engaging me in her characters as well. If you haven't watched it yet, I highly recommend you to. Maleficient's message to me was not to judge people, as there is always the good in the bad, and the bad in the good. And can we talk about Prince Phillip?! Though he didn't appear much in the movie but you can't disagree that he's hot! :3

Ps. I can't seem to get over the soundtrack, so spooky and lovely at the same time.

But if I know you, I know what you'll do
You'll love me at once
The way you did once upon a dream

This is definitely on my wish-list right now -- Nike Roshe Run

Ever since stepping into uni, my high school friends (including myself) have all been really busy. Kinda sad to say this, but we barely have time to see each other. However, this weekend, all of us finally found the time to get together for lunch where we had korean bbq. Although it was just a lunch session, everything still felt the same. We still laughed at our same inside jokes and talked about the same stuff. It made me realize how much I've missed them. This may sound cheesy but no matter how far we are, we are always close at heart.

xx

Tried this at H&M today. A bit huge though. Yay or nay?

A Wish-granting Factory

Wednesday, June 11, 2014
Kicked start my day with a cup of Espresso Mocha Frappe.

The world is not a wish-granting factory.

While reading the papers, I happened to come across the poster of The Fault in Our Stars and couldn't resist to take a picture of it. It looks even more beautiful in black and white print! I really can't wait to see the movie. I had already finished the book and cried through the ending, no doubt I'll be sobbing through the entire movie as well. Unfortunately, I think it's gonna be quite some time before it gets here in Thailand. Urgh, I wish I was in the States or any other countries where the movie is in right now.

The Rainbow Hope

Saturday, June 7, 2014

Everybody say hi to my new friend, Sunny! What a friendly and playful parrot. At first he (as was I), was scared though, took some time for him to be familiar with me. The above pictures were accidental shots which turned out to be the best ones. The rest were shots of me with funny faces because Sunny's claws were damn ticklish!
With today's weather, nobody would have expected a sudden pour of rain and storm.  It was so heavy that we didn't think it was going to stop anytime soon. Eventually it did and what came after was even more unexpected, a double rainbow, which is so huge it can be seen all over the city. Maybe it's a sign that things are getting better here.

Everybody wants happiness, nobody wants pain, but you can't have a rainbow without a little rain.

Pizza Encounter

An option during Bkk rush hours

#ootd
Wearing: Striped shirt with Zara (similar) skorts
Went to this cafe called Dean & Deluca. It was actually my first time here. I love how a lot of foreigners come here. A sucker for pizzas I am, I ordered a slice of New York pepperoni for brunch. Judging from the size (huger than my face), one slice was more than enough. Taste? Amaze balls!
I met a new friend on the table next to mine. His name was Oliver, or Olivier in French. We ended up having a long ongoing conversation which started from his comment on my pizza:
"I'm sorry.. but sure you can finish it?".

White chocolate cookies n' cream milkshake, NY pizza, colorful sugars
My mom came home with these lovely beady gemstones rings and bracelets.

Weekend Wrap-up

Tuesday, June 3, 2014
The last time I had these kind of blunt bangs was as a freshman in high school. Looking back, I was never proud because I thought I looked ridiculous, which is why I've sworn to myself never again, make the same mistake. Well, on Saturday night while observing myself in the mirror for a realllllllly long time, it hit me to just go for it because after all, hair grows. The worst? Just crooked bangs...  My fingers were crossed that they might turn out okay on me now.
My hand was literally shaking when I made the first snip. The result was unexpectedly satisfying. I sent pictures to my friends and they said I look younger, which I took as a compliment!
Orange lips for sushi- the highlight of the weekend was that I got to eat sushi. If it was a man, we would be married and have kids by now, that's how much I love sushi.
Japanese crepe with green tea cream and bananas
Half-cooked omelet with bacon and mushroom cream sauce & crispy fries

White-On-White

Friday, May 30, 2014
From high-end runways to walking streets, white is trending this year, especially the white-on-white style. You can't deny that the trend looks simple yet classy. Personally, I love Kylie Jenner's style, she can manage looking first-class while keeping her swag on at the same time.

xx.

Thumbs up for matching white with silver!
